“I’ve always had a passion for candles! Whenever I travel, I’m always on the lookout for the rare pearl, an unusual fragrance to surprise me”, says the creator of Soleil de Nuit, an elegant range of candles with modern refined packaging, designed in Monaco and manufactured in Grasse. “Once I’d finished my marketing and communication studies in Nice, I decided to turn this passion into a project. It took three years to complete. From this came my Soleil de Nuit collection, launched in November 2021: four scented candles inspired by the four seasons, made from natural wax — soy, coconut oil, and beeswax — with a cotton wick. “Light or more intense fragrant notes to savour to music: “Each fragrant ambience is like a personalised playlist linked to the season, which you can hear using the QR code on the outer packaging—it’s fun!” And as she points out, “When perfume and music meet, memories come back to you...” A journey of the senses that turns into a precious moment. Julie Boukhabza even wanted a limited edition dedicated to summer 2022: Unexpected Summer, a summery scent candle presented in a unique blown glass jar. “I have also recently added a collection of mini-candles with a spout. The wax transforms into a scented oil you can use in the bath or for massage. A few drops are all it takes, and you’re off! An exquisite way for the twenty-three year-old to brighten up our lives.
