After studying at the Faculty of Arts in Nice, Alexandra Tence initially planned to pursue her career as an actress and director in Paris. But following a serious health problem, the young woman, now recovered and back in the South of France, completely changed her career path. She envisioned a “useful” occupation for herself, focused on planetary well-being and committed to global ecology. “I became aware of the fragility of life,” she says, “and I had a need to found my own company focused on well-being.” Alexandra created a formidable ethical and sustainable “marketplace” for brands from various fields – fashion, beauty, food, animals –, but all committed to the same green approach. Super-responsable.org became the “consume’actor” showcase under her impetus.
“The site now includes hundreds of sustainable brands, promoted online, with their commitments set out in a charter. My team and I support them in their business strategies, communication, visibility on social networks... and all this for free! We also create physical events to encourage exchanges between consumers and committed brands and to showcase products made with an ecological mindset. We are a team of six passionate individuals, sometimes reinforced by young people from E2C (Second Chance School) who have dropped out of the school system. I’m happy to be working in this routinely caring environment,” says this dynamic boss, barely 30 years old herself.
