In her Cannes showroom interior decorator Christine Bodino likes to surround herself with items created by her favourite designers – Kate Hume, Marcio Kogan, John Pawson, Gio Ponti, Ora-Ïto, Andrée Putman... A way of introducing visitors to her well-honed taste forbeautiful things and demonstrating her skill in creating living environments. Christine conceives private individuals' living spaces in their entirety, from materials and colours through furniture to artworks and mood music; she has even launched her own Rive Sud Interior line of scented candles to sign the private homes she decorates. In her design office she produces style sheets for private customers building homes in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Cannes or Saint-Tropez. Her special pleasure is sharing with artisans her fondness for the one-off pieces and original ideas that create the personal touch she is always seeking. Her greatest reward is her customers' trust. "I'm not out to turn people's homes into showrooms! I strive to personalise as much as possible the place they will be living in," Christine emphasises.
