VIVRE SA VILLE

De la création de produits originaux aux nouvelles technologies de l’information et la communication, les entreprises azuréennes sont un véritable atout de la région. The business school committed to e-learning for 15 years now has launched a strategic new project: EDHEC Online. For whom? “Students a little older than those on our initial training programmes, who need a degree such as a BA or MBA to relaunch their careers but aren’t physically able to access our campuses since they may be anywhere in the world,” sums up Benoît Arnaud, who runs EDHEC Online. That’s the background to the FOME (Future of Management Education) platform cofounded with Imperial College London and five other world-class colleges and universities. Through this, upwards of 2000 classes will be offered online and shared by the partner establishments so as to mutually enrich their courses. “The idea is to deliver intensive individual and collective support along with augmented social learning to enable group work, to develop gamification so as to pass on knowhow through play, and to offer volumes of mobile learning sessions since smartphones are now used more than tablets and PCs,” explains Stefan Crisan, EDHEC Online’s director of operations.
