In its role of assisting and supporting entrepreneurs, the Junior Chamber International Monaco organises themed regular events throughout the year, such as Business Time and Business Breakfasts, plus one-off events that include Startup Weekend and Get in The Ring. National president Alexandre Maniloff tells us: “Things have changed in the last five years, we are now among the most important entrepreneurship vectors in Monaco.” His ambitions? “To go further and pinpoint the reasons that have or haven't enabled project initiators to set up their businesses in the Principality, to understand the set of problems they face.” The JCI has also launched a series of training cycles to help potential entrepreneurs understand Monaco's specific business challenges, while its Business Plan Competition endowed with a government grant of €61,000 has already nurtured several business success stories. Entry to this year's competition is open until August 2019.
