In April 2017 four Rivierans launched an app that is revolutionising how French people socialise. Weary of being bombarded by places that flood cyberspace with their news, Axel, Thomas, Mathilde and Alain came up with TimeNJoy, a socialising app whose finely tuned algorithm selects events on the sole basis of an individual's tastes and desires. Initially conceived for Niçois, the app now available through a website and a smart Facebook chatbot covers all the cultural, sports and entertainment events in France's major towns. More than 40,000 people use it each day. Quickly, easily and free of charge!
