Unlike the original house built in the 1960s, the new build's composition derives from its proximity to the existing garden and terraces, the latter created using traditional walls of local stone, simple, practical and authentic. The stone section of the building is what remains of the original house, with the bedrooms to one side and the kitchen and office on the other. The space remaining between these two structural elements houses a reception room beside the office, the living room and the entrance, around the courtyard with an olive tree. The Côte d’Azur's climate makes it possible to live in the open air most of the year, and here there is no interruption in continuity between the indoor spaces and the passages through the house that culminate on the garden roof.
