The intended site overlooks the sea, sloping steeply from north to south and covered in pine trees. Consequently the only means of access to the villa will be by cable car from a platform with space to park two vehicles. The house comprises two rectangular sections one on top of the other, the upper one set at a different angle to the lower one. This means the facilities on the entrance floor – living room, dining room, kitchen, open and covered terraces, swimming pool – will look out along Cap Martin without the tops of the surrounding pine trees being in the line of vision. The lower section houses three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The colours have been chosen to emphasise the building's length, the top section, completely invisible from the road, being in charcoal grey and the bottom section in lightly streaked pale beige Australian pine. The woodwork will also be charcoal grey with very thin uprights (2cm). Consequently the building will blend completely into the landscape and be almost invisible, even from the sea.
