The fourth edition of the competition run by the UPE 06 business federation and COTE La Revue d’Azur stays true to its remit of singling out the Alpes-Maritimes’s most innovative firms.
The COTE Invent’ competition came about as a means of valorising the inventiveness and capacity for initiative of local businesses by engaging the instigators who are building tomorrow’s world and capable of making creative contributions. More than 30 entries were received, each presenting an invention developed in the Alpes-Maritimes and finalised between 31 December 2016 and 31 December 2017; each entrant could present one project only. Entries might be a finished product, an app, a concept, a managerial solution, an infrastructure system, an organisational process or suchlike, in any sector whatsoever, such as green technology, information and communication technology, social innovation, services, etc. Again this year Nice’s legendary palace-hotel, the Negresco, hosts the awards night on 8 March.
