« Man Ray, le beau temps », exposition labellisée d’intérêt national

The American painter, photographer and filmmaker Man Ray (1890-1976), lived in France and took French nationality. At one time he was a frequent presence at Villa Noailles in Hyères. This exhibition is in four parts: the essentials, Villa Noailles, portraits of Surrealists, and the South of France. Photos, paintings, drawings, films and three-dimensional works, far removed from academic convention. Selected portraits and fun on the beach with Picasso, Eluard and Dora Maar in 1937.
