He grew up immersed in art, his father being Bernard Taride (Ecole de Nice artist and a great jazz fan). After starting out in music, and then design, Gérard Taride turned to scenography and the new technologies. He enjoys mixing media and modes of expression. Here his theme is musical censorship, ‘forbidden notes’ as the title says. The works on show are on a grand scale and all of them reference music.
