TAG-Heuer is opening its shop on the corner of two of Marseille’s most commercial streets, Rue Grignan and Rue Paradis, in partnership with Marseilles-based company Frojo. The décor reflects the company’s heritage and links with motorsports, especially F1. Gulf helmets, Porsche books, a model of the mythical Porsche 911, and a giant photo of the Red Bull Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen all serve as reminders of its successful partnerships with these great names in the four-wheeled sport. This 30m2 space with its masculine codes will convey the brand’s values and favourite territories: innovation and performance, like the racing cars that flirt with, not to say exceed, 300 km/hr on the track.
Exclusive watches
In terms of timepieces, besides the new generation of connected watches that are driving the brand’s commercial success, TAG-Heuer fans will be pleased to find iconic models such as the Aquaracer diving watch, along with the exclusive TAG-Heuer Carrera Porsche Chronographe Orange Racing, the result of a sixth collaboration between these two giants. On top of this, the legendary Monaco watch and the extremely rare Monaco Dark Lord with its titanium case. A “Full Black” model refers to the original model: a timeless classic that entered the watchmaking pantheon when Steve McQueen wore it on his wrist in the 1970 film Le Mans.
