Jeweller Raynal opened its flagship store on the even-numbered side of the Cours Mirabeau in the run-up to Christmas 2021. This new store inevitably led to the historic boutique on the odd-numbered side moving upmarket –now housing precious timepieces from 11 Rue Fabrot. “The world of luxury in which we have been evolving for 42 years is constantly growing, integrating new codes while preserving those that have shaped brands’ history and identity. We needed to offer our partners somewhere for them to flourish,” confides Monsieur Raynal. The result is stunning: an enlarged, luxuriously decorated, and furnished space – Versailles parquet flooring, brass and wood-finished display units. And each watchmaker has a dedicated corner for total immersion. In terms of manufacturers represented, this showcase boutique is devoted entirely to the finest watchmaking: Omega, Chopard, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, IWC, Zenith and, for the first time, Blancpain and Bulgari. “We aim to position Aix in the world of Haute Horlogerie, both in terms of sales and in the workshop, with four watchmakers working continuously on the floor of this new boutique,” states Clément Gras. Monsieur Raynal works with his son Clément, who has been training for four years to take over this success story. “We will continue to innovate on the strength of this news.” Clément will be helping legendary watchmaker TAG-Heuer open its first mono-brand boutique in the City of Cézanne, on Rue Fabrot.
