This festival of contemporary theatre and live performance has taken over Domaine de Figuière every summer since 2016, inviting well-known figures on the contemporary scene but also new names worth discovering. This year it gives even more space to young theatre companies and welcomes up-and-coming performers in dance, drama and circus. The starlit festival set amidst vines, pines and cork oaks boasts several stages plus installations, exhibitions, food trucks and a dance floor open until very late. The 2019 edition’s bright ideas include moving in the studios of artists Gaël Davrinche and Sarah Jérôme so as to show them at work, and presenting circus for the first time with the delightful show Dad is Dead. And still upholding the original idea of a family-friendly festival organised by a bunch of pals.
