Jean-Michel Folon’s bronze sculptures are in the public eye this summer through a series of large pieces installed in Saint-Tropez’s streets and on its harbour side, a trail that flags up the emotive and refreshing approach the fine-minded Belgian sculptor brought to his work. Folon was also a humanist photographer inspired by what he saw of the world and its people, and the French public came to know him through his short film contributions to the Antenne 2 TV channel. The outdoor trail is complemented by the Photos Graphiques exhibition at the Fondation.
