A show in French and English conceived by Macha Makeïeff, the woman behind the Deschiens TV comedy series, whose work is impregnated with the films of Jacques Tati. Starting from Lewis Carroll’s fey Alice in Wonderland world, she and a troupe of joyously fanciful actors/singers/musicians perform a theatrical fantasy melding dreams, childhood and British extravagance. Discover it at the TNN, celebrating its 50th year with new director Muriel Mayette-Holtz, who was the Comédie-Française’s first female managing director before running the prestigious Villa Médicis.
