The oldest of the contemporary art galleries in Nice, founded in 1954 by photographer Jean Ferrero and taken over in 2003 by Guillaume Aral, has moved to pastures new. First in the port area before transferring in the 70s to the Croix de Marbre (Rue de France and Rue du Congrès), collectors can now find this Nice institution in Vieux Nice. The gallery has reopened in vast premises on Rue Droite, near Place Rossetti. It has always specialised in artists from the Ecole de Nice (Arman, Ben, César, Fahri, Gilli, Mas, Sosno...) and Nouveau-Réalisme (Christo, Rotella...) but also reveals new generation local talents such as Véronique Guerrieri, Guido Palmero, Akimov and Pierre-Alex Gael. Don’t miss it!
