Conceptual art in wide-open spaces

Here we go for the foundation’s summer exhibition with a new installation by American artist Lawrence Weiner in the long glass-walled gallery. Unusually, due to the health crisis, the preparation for this exhibition all had to be done by telephone and digital communication – a fundamental return to the practices that presided over the boom in conceptual art in the 60s. Visible from the sculpture park that brings together some of the great names*. On-site, the monumental works exhibited by Bernar Venet at the Château de Versailles in 2011 have also been put on view in a collapse-based reinstallation. An artistic journey over 7 hectares!
