At the invitation of the Conseil Général du Var’s art centre, photographer and video-maker Stéphane Couturier spent three years exploring Algiers’s emblematic Climat de France housing complex built in the 50s by French architect Fernand Pouillon, which in the 90s became an Islamist stronghold.
