Concerts resume in this intimate venue in Nice with funk, jazz, world music, and electro. Starting with a dialogue between piano and saxophone on 5 April, the volcanic Guillaume Perret plays the saxophone in an exclusively acoustic set. Brooklyn Funk Essentials follows on 12 April for a funk marathon with musicians experienced with performing in New York clubs, distilling their love of jazz and hyper-danceable groove. It’s the turn of rapper-musician-producer Sly Johnson on 3 May, accompanied by collaborators on guitar and bass - an evening around the new French soul-jazz scene.
