The exhibition Under the Dress reveals the chic underworld of Jean-Antoine Hierro’s obsessive work on and around his fetish: the long dress. An object-dress, universal symbol of a civilisation based on appearances, which here becomes a means of artistic expression in its own right through drawings, ceramics, bronzes, digital artworks and more. Painter, scenic artist and musician, Hierro claims Ecole de Nice influence in creating his original, personal pieces.
