Some 40 artists work inside and outside Saint-Paul-de-Vence's ramparts. They are instrumental in the medieval village's reputation so its council makes a point of honouring them on a regular basis. This year the village museum is exhibiting the recent work of ceramicist Kiki Giuliana and painter Laurent Deprez. The former worked with Miró at the Maeght Foundation before becoming a potter while the latter exercises his brain and palette on the limits of abstraction.
