Musée de Vence

So be Andres Serrano.

The Lambert Collection inaugurates a long series of exhibitions in Vence, its collector's birthplace, with a retrospective on Andres Serrano, to whom Yvon Lambert was in fact the first to give a solo exhibition in France, in 2006. For So Be It, the controversial American photographer has chosen old series (from the '80s) such as Ku Klux Klan and Nomads, some portraits of the Comédie-Française's 42 members, and his most recent work done in Cuba. He has also added a very personal touch in the shape of a series of photos of Vence's Matisse Chapel, taken specially for the exhibition.
