The "loveliest little museum in France", lying a stone's throw from the Mediterranean, is celebrating its 60th birthday this year. In the late 19th century this little fishing village played host to a clique of painters from whom modern art originated, led by Paul Signac. Three big exhibitions mark this anniversary, the first being Tribute to Donors until 1 June, which displays the museum's collection as it was first seen by the public.
