The Marseille sculptor contributed so much to the Riviera's artistic renown that he needs no introduction, yet some of César's work has still never been shown in Europe. Villa Domergue's exhibition César, les inédits, collection Jean Ferrero is showing 150 works on paper that César produced between 1960 and 1997 "in the privacy of a studio improvised alongside the celebrated art dealer, gallerist and collector" with whom the most illustrious Nouveau Réaliste (who died in 1998) enjoyed a deep and lasting friendship. Additionally, other artists pay
tribute to César through their works displayed in the gardens.
