Carnaval de Nice

Spotlight on the 2016 Carnival King! Upholding his universal vocation, His Majesty celebrates freedom of expression with his suite of 17 allegorical floats inspired by current affairs. By day and at night, carnival parades take us travelling through time and space using humour and derision. The Battle of Flowers makes poetry of the Promenade des Anglais while France’s first gay carnival, christened Lou Queernaval, returns for a second light-hearted edition celebrating living all together. A programme packed with fun and entertainment, not least the amusing fancy-dress Carnival Run, the Carnival Swim, and Zumba for dancing.
