The museum dedicated to the Belorussian painter and his fascinating, poetic world has now reopened, and this spring devotes an exhibition to the music that accompanied Chagall throughout his artistic career, from the traditional Jewish tunes of his childhood and the Russian folk songs heard at fêtes and circuses to the sophisticated compositions of Bach and Mozart.
