“Within the avant-garde of the 60s-70s, an affiliation developed along the lines of an art clearly defined as “conceptual“ and granting writing, words and text a predominant, tautological even, role.“ L’Espace de l’Art Concret’s director, Fabienne Fulchéri, illustrates this observation and angle brilliantly in the exhibition hung in Mouans-Sartoux’s château. These works “with or without a message“ come mainly from the Albers-Honegger collection.
