Déantibulations turns the whole town into a theatre of artistic exploration, spreading performing arts to the extremities of Antibes’s ramparts and streets over the festival’s eclectic four days of music, dance, theatre, circus and more. Be surprised and amazed by this array of intriguingly-named companies such as La Folle Allure, Bris de Banane, Détournement d’Elles and Hors Surface. Les Frères Jacquard does some “Tube Unknitting” and Arpette reveals its “History Undies” while Art Osé revisits Chekhov’s The Bear and the La Bascule collective warns us “Nothing Is Less Certain”. Free performances for all the family, from the Anthéa theatre’s forecourt to the Pré des Pêcheurs esplanade. No defined stages, no numbered seats!
