The Polygone Riviera, which combines shopping with relaxation and leisure, is this summer displaying five Joan Miró sculptures alongside its dancing fountains. The works loaned by Fondation Maeght, which include A Bird’s Caress, Constellation and Monument, demonstrate the diversity of the Surrealist artist in his manipulation of shapes, materials and colours. As well as this temporary exhibition, the site, which can be visited with an audioguide or by miniature train, is now permanently displaying works by 11 artists in addition to Sosno’s ‘inhabited’ sculpture constructed on the spot. A tour of contemporary creativity with surprises at every turn, featuring Ben, Céleste Boursier-Mougenot, Daniel Buren, César, Anthony Gormley, Jean-Michel Othoniel and others.
