The Printemps des Arts festival’s original initiatives invite curious audiences to visit classical music from new angles with internationally reputed musicians and talented newcomers. This year’s festival offers an ambitious portrait of the great romantic composer Hector Berlioz, swathes us in the refinement of Renaissance music, and celebrates the piano in its many forms. As a prelude to some concerts, young soloists will play five-minute pieces inviting us to listen to new soundscapes. And of course there are the usual talks, round tables and masterclasses.
