This hyperactive artist, who divides his life between Nice and Miami, likes to surprise and be surprised. Stéphane Bolongaro comes from a family of artists and businessmen but is a truly self-made man. A great fan of the 1970s and Pop Art, he enjoyed fruitful exchanges of ideas with the Ecole de Nice artists. Totally unfettered by convention, he has invented a playful, magical world that often tips a wink at childhood and where humour is never far away. This extra-muros exhibition by the Nice Galerie Ferrero demonstrates the considerable diversity of local creativity.
