Living on the Côte d’Azur, Quinn made Picasso’s acquaintance in 1951 and a deep friendship developed between the two. The photographer never specifically prepared any of the scenes he snapped. This exhibition’s 126 photos reveal the everyday life of the man and the artist in the process of painting, drawing and sculpting. We see himwith his loved ones, with friends, in his homes, with his favourite pets – a testimonyto an everyday life that Picasso, driven by a continual hunger to create, never ceased questioning through forms, materials and colours.
