Fancy a wander around Biot’s ancient streets discovering huge artworks by artists who all have connections with the village? “I like it when a piece of art finds a place in the landscape and architecture, or brings us up short by surprising and questioning us,” explains gallerist Valérie Gaidoz, the exhibition’s curator. The al-fresco promenade is a trove of sculptures, each spectacular in colour, shape and/or format and interacting with their different surroundings. Bronze, resin, sandstone, glass, wood, steel... the diversity of materials crafted by Biot’s artists is nothing short of impressive.
