The top summer highlight that shouldn't be missed for any reason! For nine years now this festival has transformed the beach of Cannes's Palais des Festivals into a gigantic open-air dance floor. The ball starts rolling on 10 July with a night of electro bass music. French Touch night on 17 July features Mr Oizo and Popof, then on 30 July the focus is on drum & bass. 6 August promises record attendance thanks to the heralded return of Laurent Garnier, playing back-to-back with Boys Noize for a unique Plages Electro night. Lastly, 14 August is dedicated to techno with the eagerly awaited Dubfire, a dance-floor favourite the world over.

From electro scene to emerging contemporary bands, this 13th Pantiero festival spotlights the latest trends in music more than ever before. Essentials: electro pop rock with Factory Floor headlining on Friday 8 August, don't-miss electro pop sounds from Breton, Isaac Illusion and Coming Soon on Saturday 9 August, and Bonobo on Sunday 10 August. New for 2014: every evening there's a preview live gig by a band from the discovery springboard organised in association with Pression Live.
