In this era of selfies and short-lived images, Monaco goes for a show on art and collectable photography! The first PhotoMonaco, “spatially and temporally grounded in the visual arts and their photographic history in Monaco,” organisers Renaud Siegmann, Stéphane Gautier and photographer Patrick Chelli explain, will feature 15 international galleries, 20 hand-picked publishers and the legendary Harcourt studio. Stand-out events include the inaugural show devoted to entertainer and photographer Nikos Aliagas and extra-muros exhibitions in the Prince’s Palace apartments, the oceanographic museum and the motoring museum.
