Top classical musicians perform at this festival held on the forecourt of the Basilique Saint-Michel, transformed every summer into an auditorium. And since last year, concerts at 6pm in the Musée Jean Cocteau plus a fringe festival on Esplanade Francis-Palmero extend an event that has been a must virtually since its inception in 1950. From 31 July to 14 August you can enjoy Gidon Kremer, Renaud Capuçon, Nicholas Angelich, Nelson Freire and Alexandre Tharaud, plus the new tenor Piotr Beczala and the stunning Simone Kermes in a programme spotlighting the great castrati.
