This historic Antibes art venue is again open for guided visits. Hans Hartung (1904-1989) and Anna-Eva Bergman (1909-1987) were highly significant abstract artists who established their home and studios here amidst acres of olive trees. Today their foundation houses an outstanding collection of artworks and archives, as well as forming a remarkable architectural ensemble recognised as 20th-Century Heritage. It isn’t open to the public all the time but until October you can book a 75min guided tour of the place where two of modern art’s leading figures lived and worked.
