The power of his inspiration doesn’t limit itself to one channel, expressing itself through photography, film, drawing, painting, sculpture and music too. Recognised internationally for his multi-dimensional artworks, Erick Ifergan has here composed an emotionally-charged exhibition. While the Château Saint-Martin & Spa’s gardens form the backdrop to four of his sculptures, his pictures and ceramics grace the hotel’s gallery. Invited to decorate the chapel on site, Ifergan chose to create a tree of life all in black lines tangled together as in an endless dance, a universal symbol evoking nature and the fantastic (photo). Throughout the season Bernar Venet is also exhibiting his Angles, Arcs and Indeterminate Lines in the château’s superb gardens.
