You’ve a rendezvous with young artists in this space initially the fief of fishermen selling their catch but now promoting the local art scene. “Valley of the Strange” is an opportunity to explore a selection of artworks demonstrating the individuality of each of the art school’s 2018 graduates after five years of studies, as they are brought together in this big hall. As artist Bertrand Ivanoff, the exhibition’s curator, explains: “Training in art is one of the humanities; it should give each imaginative individual fertile foundations for developing their own singular vocabulary, growing more autonomous and resisting human torments.”
