The ready-to-wear label designed for playboys and businessmen alike has just opened its first retail outlet in Monaco. Flavio Briatore’s brainchild that couturier Philipp Plein joined in 2016, Billionaire promotes the knowhow of artisans who maintain close connections with tradition, just one strong point being the meticulous attention to detail. This new store stocks all the menswear and male accessories lines, displayed to their advantage in brand-hallmarked surroundings. A magnificent lion catches your attention on entering, then you get into discovering the various flowered silk shirts, a sky-blue double-breasted linen suit, a black crocodile gilet.... The items in the new collection rub shoulders with a slew of accessories such as leather bags and suitcases in shades of orange, cherry and cream. Given that the Italian label is sponsoring the Monte-Carlo Polo Team for the international championships taking place in July, it’s surely going to be much talked about.
