A few steps from the Hôtel de Paris, the famed shoemaker has opened its second Riviera outlet – the first is in Cannes. Devoted to the men's models and sporting beige walls, glossy shelving, glass tables and padded leather display cases, these 85m² premises all discreet luxury and low-key ambience reflect the world of Berluti just perfectly. On the ground floor the leather goods, accessories, brogues, derbies and general footwear look lovely against a wall covered entirely with bottles displaying the colours employed for over a century to create the signature Berluti leather patinas. Upstairs, a private lounge furnished with designer pieces – Hug sofa by Christophe Delcourt, Marcel Wanders armchairs, Gallotti & Radice floor lamp – makes finding just the right shoes even pleasanter, with a splendid view over the Principality to boot!
