The Italian fashion house continues rewriting our best-known fairy tales with an Autumn/Winter 2014-15 collection channelling Snow White via an obviously mega-contemporary interpretation of the Grimm Brothers’ heroine as seen by Disney. The various silhouettes, all utterly of-today, plunge us into a cartoon world of nonchalantly mischievous women carelessly shrugging off conventions as they impose an assertive style hovering between sweet and rebellious. With biking jackets and innocent jumpsuits, bare legs and tight waists, capes and brocade, little cardigans and pop-art knits, mini-crinolines, student blousons, bows and patents pumps, it boldly, shamelessly mixes garments and materials, because in the end it isn’t what you do that’s important but how you do it!
