Margarita Kiseleva is passionate about fashion – when we met her she was wearing a superb suit by confidential Parisian atelier Pallas Paris. The project she dreamed up for Cannes opened on Rue d’Antibes late this summer: a multibrand ready-to-wear store for men and women, stocking international labels that are hard to find on the Côte d’Azur. Which makes Projecteurs a most interesting place to shop! Its charming Russian-born owner stocks the kind of clothes she loves, so we find the collections by Adam Lippes, Derek Lam, Maison Martin Margiela Homme and Olympia Le Tan (some stocked nowhere else), to say nothing of Elise Dray jewellery and Rick Owens outfits. The first floor doubles up as a private fitting room for special clients, and at the back of the shop Jérôme de Oliveira's delicious sweet treats revive passing hipsters.
