The refurbished Monaco store unveiled in December is a symphony of pale wood and luxurious leathers, silk and velvet. Interior architect Thierry W. Despont, whose design concept has been rolled out across Chopard shops since 2007, has retained the store's muted, welcoming character, but has introduced a much more contemporary look. The Swiss jewellery house's flagship collections are displayed on the ground floor (Happy Sport, Mille Miglia and Happy Diamonds) alongside pieces from the sensual, feminine new line Impériale. The first floor is given over to exclusive fine jewellery and timewear models.
