The Italian fashion house’s latest musts have found a home in the luxe shopping street, a two-storey 354m2 shop where the ground floor is devoted to the women’s ready-to-wear while upstairs displays the men’s clothing and accessories. The décor was conceived throughout by the maestro himself with his team of architects: dove-grey marmorino stucco for the ceilings, pale grey bamboo-pattern wood panelling for the walls, seating and carpets from the latest Armani Casa collection. ‘‘Saint-Tropez has always been hugely popular with wealthy tourists from all over the world. The town’s electrifying energy and stimulating atmosphere make it the ideal place for my new store,’’ Giorgio Armani enthuses.
