This autumn Emporio Armani spotlights that great classic, jersey, revisited of course. Innovation and modernity are demonstrated by herringbone weave and chequerboard jacquard with gold and silver threads, plus the incorporation of abstract brushstrokes referencing the traditional Japanese art of shodo. But the special feature is a macro-zip accentuating the outline of trousers and jacket. The latter, amazingly light, unlined and totally destructured, adopts bomber-jacket details and is worn with suit trousers in either jersey knit or printed fabric.
