François and Christophe, known as the Miro Brothers, have now opened their third shop (after Cap 3000 and Monaco) and as expected their selection of frames is spot-on, being focused on designers who exercise their art solely in the eyewear field. So with great pleasure we renew acquaintance with French stars-of-the-moment Anne & Valentin and their cheerful collection, the sculptural lines of the Belgian Théo, ic! Berlin’s laser cut-outs, rocker Chrome Hearts flaunting solid-silver inserts, Leisure Society’s titanium frames skeletonised and/or gold-plated, wood specialist Rolf, Ahlem’s vintage allusions, and the models with completely flat lenses by Garrett Leight (son of the Oliver Peoples designer). A shop that is sheer joy for anyone into lovely eyewear, and art lovers too since a majestic Steph Cop’s sculpture lords it over the place!
