After taking Wallpaper magazine’s Best Alliance prize, the spring-summer Akris collection resulting from the collaboration between creative director Albert Kriemler and Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto has everyone excited. The two worked closely together to design a line inspired by the latter’s contemporary architecture as epitomised by the Taiwan Tower and London’s Serpentine Pavilion. Seeking out new connections with nature via shapes and materials, the collection channels everything from the texture of bamboo to the facets of diamonds.
