The jeweller drew inspiration from the Mediterranean all around for its new Cannes store imbued with that southern feel: shutter-like windows, arches reminiscent of town squares, shades of blue and pearly walls evoking light dancing on water. This majestic light-filled space displays too a colourful fresco illustrating the life and work of Fred Samuel, who founded the company in 1936. The two reception lounges have been conceived as a social space, with a bookcase in which the Cœurs en Cascade suite sits proudly amidst beautiful books and personal items from the Fred archives, such as a steel and yellow-gold clock and a mother-of-pearl powder compact.
